Despatcher (Scout Shop)
We are expanding the operations of Basingstoke Scout Shop and we are looking for more help to truly embrace this amazing asset. Since January 2023 we launched our online offering and this has grown amazingly and we need to continue to build on this. We are moving our online operations into the district hub and we are looking for a number of people to join our shop team based out of the hub.
You will be able to commit to visit the hub once a fortnight to pick and pack orders, then dispatch via local parcel shops. There will be a rota system in place so you can select the day that is convenient to you. We expect the time commitment to be around an hour per fortnight and can be done alongside other Scout roles.
Full training for this role will be given. The role is an Active support member role, so in most cases no additional training modules are required.
